A recent contract with San Diego International Airport is a bright example.
According to the Business Unit Manager, John Derry, “KR Wolfe was tapped to complete a major upgrade of information systems inside Terminal 2 to help keep the busy airport operating at peak efficiency.”
KR Wolfe installed 229 workstations and 68 full-sized kiosks.
The project entailed software installations for 82 desktop kiosks, 68 full-sized kiosks and 229 workstations. The “Wolfe Pack” assisted with project logistics in advance of the actual installation, coordinating the shipping/receiving, storage and delivery of the project’s various technology components.
For the installation phase, KR Wolfe dispatched a team of five systems integration and installation technicians to Terminal 2, which hosts ticketing, arrivals and departures for Alaska, American, Delta and United Airlines. This project, which is one of a few jobs completed by KR Wolfe at the San Diego International Airport, was delivered on-time and on-budget.
