OSHA Safety Standards—Built into every KR Wolfe Project

KR Wolfe construction teams approach every project with a focus on Quality, Understanding and caring, Exceptional Service, SPIRIT and Trust. That is our QUEST, and it’s how we strive to spread positivity and ensure safety on every job site.

For any construction company, safety is much more than a goal; it must remain an absolute commitment on a daily basis.  At KR Wolfe, we view safety as tantamount to providing an ideal construction experience from inception to completion—on every project.

Under the OSH Act, employers have the responsibility to provide a safe workplace. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards describe the methods employers are legally required to follow to protect their workers from hazards.

Protecting the Safety of Hospital Workers and Patients

Working in hospitals and other medical facility environments dictates that KR Wolfe teams comply not only with stringent OSHA safety requirements, but also strict infection control protocols mandated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The CDC requires healthcare facilities to perform an Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) before any renovation, construction or repair project. The ICRA Class IV designation states that hospitals must, “construct barriers to prevent dust and dangerous pathogens from entering patient care areas and ensure that barriers are impermeable to fungal spores and in compliance with local fire codes.”

OSHA Certified, ICRA Trained

According to KR Wolfe CEO, Rachel Wolfe, “our technicians are OSHA certified and have completed necessary training to meet OSHA and CDC regulations.” Throughout every hospital construction project, KR Wolfe specialists take pride in executing the ICRA requirements outlined by the hospital facilities and their healthcare renovation teams.

While many businesses have adversarial relationships with OSHA due to random compliance inspections and potential fines, we at KR Wolfe view OSHA as an important industry affiliate.

KR Wolfe takes pride in installing the most advanced medical equipment and technology on the market to help hospitals elevate patient care, achieve better outcomes and save lives. Each successful hospital renovation project begins with a friendly conversation. If you have an upcoming project you would like to discuss with our team, please CONTACT US.
