Digital Signage Installation Services
WHAT A DIGITAL SIGNAGE INSTALLATION INCLUDES
Site Survey and Mounting Surface
The survey confirms what sits behind each mounting location: wall construction, blocking or backing, ceiling structure for suspended displays, and clearances around the screen. It also checks power and network locations against the display layout, so any mismatch gets resolved before hardware arrives.
Mounting, Alignment and Cable Management
Mounts go in level and are anchored to the verified structure. Displays hang, align and lock, and cables run concealed and labeled so the next technician can trace any connection.
Power, Data and Media Player Placement
Each display needs power and a network or signal connection at the mounting point. Each media player needs a spot where it stays ventilated and reachable for service, whether that is behind the screen, in a nearby enclosure or in a remote rack.
Commissioning and Content Verification
Each screen gets powered up, connected to the content management system, and checked against the content schedule before handoff. The site contact signs off on a working display, not a mounted one.
DIGITAL SIGNAGE, KIOSK, AND WAYFINDING INSTALLATION
MULTI-SITE DIGITAL SIGNAGE ROLLOUTS
A signage rollout across dozens of locations depends on consistency. KR Wolfe deploys crews nationwide under a single installation standard, so mounting height, cable routing, and commissioning checks are consistent at every site. Installs get scheduled around each location’s operating hours, including overnight work.

WHO INSTALLS DIGITAL SIGNAGE FOR AV INTEGRATORS AND MANUFACTURERS
On a typical signage project, the manufacturer supplies the displays, an AV integrator designs and programs the system, and an installation contractor mounts and commissions it on-site. KR Wolfe partners with manufacturers and AV system integrators across the country as the installation contractor, supplying skilled labor rather than equipment.
In the San Jose area, KR Wolfe worked alongside AVI-SPL on a large AV project at Juniper Networks.
AIRPORT DIGITAL SIGNAGE INSTALLATION
In March 2020, KR Wolfe teamed with SITA, the air transport IT specialist, on the SITA Terminal 2 display replacement for American and Alaska Airlines. The crew removed the existing LG displays and installed 20 new 55-inch Samsung displays with mini DDC PCs to drive them.
For the LAX flight information display upgrade, KR Wolfe replaced outdated displays with integrated video wall solutions and reinforced the structural supports. All of that work ran overnight to avoid disruption.

DIGITAL SIGNAGE INSTALLATION FAQS
Look for an installer with experience on the display types being deployed, the crew capacity to cover every site on the schedule, and references from AV integrators or manufacturers. Ask how the contractor handles site surveys and commissioning, since those two steps catch problems before and after the hardware goes up.
