The Installation and Systems Integration Divisions of KR Wolfe are proud to be collaborating with JM Keckler Medical Co. on a major renovation of the Tahoe Tower section of Renown Regional Medical Center.
Founded in 1876, Renown Regional Medical Center is part of Renown Health, the largest locally owned not-for-profit healthcare network in Northern Nevada with more than 6,500 employees systemwide. This regional facility is Renown Health’s flagship hospital and the region’s only level II trauma center.
“It’s always a privilege to work side by side with companies such as JM Keckler that embrace the high standards of quality workmanship and commitment to stellar service that our teams strive for on every project,” said KR Wolfe president, Rachel Wolfe. “The multifaceted Tahoe Tower renovation project entails the removal and replacement of structural suspensions, electrical work, medical gas modification and more.”
KR Wolfe’s Equipment Installation division is removing and replacing outdated surgical lighting systems by installing new surgical light/flat panel monitor suspensions and booms in four Neurosurgical Operating Rooms, 18 Cystoscopy Surgical Rooms, one Trauma Operating Room and one Hybrid OR. KR Wolfe’s Systems Integration team is also engaged with the Tahoe Tower project, completing data systems upgrades.
All of these project renovations are being coordinated in conjunction with a flooring replacement project the hospital is undertaking. Despite its complexities, the Tahoe Tower project is proceeding according to plan and stakeholders are pleased with the progress to date.
