Boom and Surgical Light Installation, Sharp Memorial Hospital
KR Wolfe has performed boom and surgical light installations and OR upgrades at Sharp Memorial Hospital, part of a long-running body of work across the Sharp and Grossmont health system.
Turnkey Facility Renovation, SharpCare Spring Valley
Sharp's Facilities Management and Development division invited three contractors to bid on the design and build-out of its Spring Valley medical office complex. KR Wolfe won on the shortest schedule, lowest cost, and a safety-first project plan, then delivered the full renovation: demolition, wall relocation, new flooring, plumbing, electrical, fire sprinklers, and installation of new medical equipment and lighting. Most demolition ran after hours under infection control protocols to avoid disrupting active tenants. The finished facility spans 3,500 square feet, with eight exam rooms, a procedure room, and a phlebotomy room.
Decontamination Room Design/Build, Sharp Grossmont Medical Plaza
The Outpatient Surgery Center on the Grossmont campus, KR Wolfe delivered a design/build project bringing an existing decontamination room up to current code. The scope ran from slab demolition and underground plumbing through the installation of a Steris three-compartment sink and washer/disinfector, new electrical, LED lighting, and the relocation of two Neptune docking stations. The work finished on time and on budget under strict infection control measures inside an occupied surgery suite.
